Stan Steeves
Moncton, New Brunswick
Apart from being a watercolour artist, Stan built the 18 hole golf course at Magnetic Hill in New Brunswick, and until 1988 operated Magnetic Hill Tourist Operations. Joining Rotary in 1960 he was President in 1984, and became District Governor in Rotary District 7810 for 1987-8.
A very early helping hand was shown by Past Governor Stan through the formation of the PROBUS CLUB of Moncton, N.B. in October 1990, following a visit from the Executive Director at the Rotary District Conference in 1989.
In 1992 Stan contributed to the successful founding of the PROBUS CLUB of Saint John, N.B.
He served as a member of the PROBUS CANADA COUNCIL for three years.
